Interdisciplinary master analyzing data-driven technologies in their social, political and ethical context - combining engineering and informatics with human, regulatory and sustainability perspectives. Teaching is split between TUM's Munich city centre and Garching campuses; confirm the exact campus on the programme page before making housing decisions.

Two-stage Eignungsverfahren (aptitude assessment) applies. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission - applicants are ranked. Check TUMonline for current procedure details. Stage 1 is a points-based review of bachelor grades and documents including a short motivation letter of about 150 words; stage 2 is a 20-30 minute interview held in English. uni-assist VPD (Vorprüfungsdokumentation) required for applicants with a non-German bachelor's degree; APS certificate required for applicants from China, India and Vietnam.
