A 4-semester research master in the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology focused on the molecular aspects of the life sciences and their targeted chemical manipulation, with cooperation from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology and the Leibniz Research Centre. Heavily lab-based, building directly on a comparable Chemical Biology bachelor. It is largely a consecutive master aimed at TU Dortmund's own (or highly comparable) Chemical Biology bachelors; international accessibility is conditional on degree/lab comparability and a possible selection interview. Note: most taught modules are in English, but some components may be in German. Prospective students should confirm current language requirements directly with the faculty.
