## Admission requirements

- Prior degree: Bachelor's in Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik) equivalent to TUM's B.Sc.; fewer than 14 credits may be missing against the combined informatics and mathematics requirement group
- Minimum grade: not confirmed
- Also required: Eignungsverfahren (aptitude assessment) required as part of the application process. Applicants are ranked; meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. GRE or Indian GATE mandatory for applicants with degrees from Bangladesh, China, India, Iran or Pakistan. uni-assist VPD (Vorprüfungsdokumentation) required for applicants with a non-German bachelor's degree; APS certificate required for applicants from China, India and Vietnam.

- All applicants, winter semester: 2026-05-31 (PASSED as of the last site build; the window usually repeats next cycle). Application window 1 February - 31 May annually via TUMonline.
- All applicants, summer semester: 2026-11-30. Application window 1 October - 30 November annually via TUMonline.
